NHS Shetland is currently looking for experienced Registered Mental Health professionals from outside the UK to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in becoming a part of NHS Shetland.
The organization is dedicated to helping candidates achieve their UK NMC registration by providing support through an OSCE practice education program.
To apply for this position, you must have successfully completed the test of competency part 1 (CBT) and meet the English language requirements specified by the NMC.
Additionally, candidates should have a degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of post-graduation experience in a Mental Health role.
A driving license is essential or the willingness to obtain one after successfully securing the position.
NHS Shetland will support selected candidates through a fully funded in-house education program, focusing on person-centered learning, to prepare for the Test of Competence Part 2 (OSCE) exam and attain full UK NMC registration.
It is worth mentioning that NHS Shetland currently boasts a 100% pass rate for candidates taking the NMC Test of Competence.
As part of the opportunity, Mental Health nurses will receive continuous support through a structured development program and preceptorship.
This program aims to provide diverse experiences across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, enabling nurses to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competence in a supportive environment.
The Pre-Registration International Mental Health Nurses will be encouraged to complete Flying Start NHS during their first year.
